how could energy conservation be improved ?

  1. Acid rain isn’t about conserving energy, it’s about not belching sulfur dioxide and other chemicals out of industrial plants.

    However, if you want to conserve energy, start with the average residential house made out of wood. What’s the utility bill on that? A lot. Contrast that with passive solar construction where the house is designed to passively heat/cool.

    Now, where’s that house? Is it in a location where the only decent way to live involves driving a personal automobile miles and miles? I’d say that house is in the wrong place.

    The fact is, the vast majority of consumer energy use is for a few things which are incredibly wasteful. Most of the things we use electricity for are fairly efficient.

  3. solar, hydel, and wind energy this would get rid of everything.
    plant more tree’s.
